Luigi Daberdaku is a native of Albania. He and his family, successful merchants, escaped communist rule in his country, in 1990, to find freedom and economic opportunities in America. Luigi is now realizing one of his many dreams, with the opening of the LUIGI’S DELI #1 in Martinez, CA and the recent opening of LUIGI’S #2 in Fairfield CA. The “Luigi’s Sandwiches” are made big, bold and tasty, with same day fresh Semifreddi’s bread, Boars Head deli meat Boars Head and premium cheeses. Thanks to the culinary assistance of his oldest son, a graduate of “Le Cordon Bleu”, creating the famous salads such as Sun Dried Tomato Pasta, Asiago Pasta, Egg Potato Salad, Blue Cheese Potato and a German Potato as well as many others. With a very supportive staff and family members, Luigi’s Deli #1 as well as Luigi’s #2 are open to serve you.
